Architecture

The house and garden portraits below are either watercolours or pen and ink drawings and it is possible to use a variety of approaches, for example a central house portrait may be surrounded by watercolour vignettes of the garden, landscape or landmarks.

Underlying each watercolour is a carefully drafted measured drawing, attention is paid to the technical aspect and the architecture itself. Some of the idiosyncrasies such as the character and colour of the surrounding vegetation, climbing plants, or shafts of light that provide glimpses through to the interiors are all incidental details, seized on to capture the individual spirit of the place.

Camilla is able to work from high quality jpeg images provided by the clients and can consult as to the types of vantage points that may work best for your project.
