Commissioning Process

Please email Camilla to make a commission enquiry.

Camilla is a member of the Association of Illustrators, for licensing and fee consultancy.  She is able to work from high quality jpeg images provided by the clients and can consult as to the types of vantage points that may work best for your project.

In addition to providing illustrations, Camilla works closely with her Edinburgh printers to scan and reproduce images if print runs or reproductions are required.  Images are only available for reproduction by licence, the artist retains original copyright unless previously agreed.

For shipment of framed original artwork from Scotland, Camilla uses Aardvark art handlers.  Unframed original work or reproductions can be sent via Royal Mail.

Studio Visits

To view original work or to discuss a commission idea, please get in touch to arrange a studio visit.  I also hold stock of many items from my range of designs, some original work for sale plus examples of past illustration work.

My studio is on St Stephen’s Street in Edinburgh’s new town.  I bought and renovated it from a semi-derelict state in 2015.  It now provides an ideal work space which is very close to home.  Historically, the street is renowned for its collection of artisan shops and spaces.  My studio was once part of a rambling (and probably very dusty) antiques emporium which inhabited the raised ground floor of a large section of that side of the street.
